So far Jimmy Shergill`s claim to fame has been his boyish charm and good looks displayed in ample measure in mentor Gulzar`s Maachis and good pal Aditya Chopra`s Mohabbatein. His last release Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, though an average hit, didn`t strike paydirt.

So Jimmy has been heavily banking on his next film, Kundan Shah`s Dil Hai Tumhara. But if the first day`s reports are anything to go by, he is a total washout in the film - thanks to bubbly Preity`s spitfire performance and Rekha`s dignified presence.

The guy is virtually in tears. "I have a cute though small role," he says. Sadly, that doesn`t translate into either mega bucks or a spate of film offers.
