If Ashutosh Gowariker`s next venture repeats the success his first film Lagaan achieved, Hrithik Roshan will be really sorry. The news is that Roshan junior has just turned down a film scripted by the Lagaan director.

Gowariker began work on his new film immediately after Oscar ceremony earlier this year. It revolves around the young and happening. Needless to say, he approached Aamir once again but the star thought the better of it. Ashutosh then thought of casting newcomers but later decided on an established actor with star power. Naturally, he zeroed on Hrithik Roshan. Given that low patch that Hrithik has hit, one would have thought that he`d grab the chance of working with a director who is flying high. But he, too, turned down the offer.

Last heard, Ashutosh was still in a state of shock and yet to decide on a star cast!
