Being a true politician by heart instead of being defeated, Sanjay has expressed happiness to be out of his temporary residence. "It was a good and fun loving experience to be a part of Bigg Boss 2, but I am happy that I am out from there. I wasn't feeling all that comfortable there.
The contestants were very different to what I am. I was missing my family too. So in short, the biggest of all is finally no more in Bigg Boss", says Sanjay.
Looking back in the past, Sanjay recollects what exactly went wrong in the Bigg Boss house leading to his elimination, "I was the odd one out there. Everyone's professions were somehow related to each other.
Only Rahul Mahajan was from a political background, but after meeting him, I realized he was more into the filmy picture.
I can say that it was only Ehsaan Qureshi whom I mingled with a lot. He is a great person and an excellent comedian."
On been asked, whom does he think voted against him, Sanjay gives a diplomatic answer (again proving that he is a true politician) by saying, "I doesn't want to comment on anybody but I would like to reveal that Jade Goody was already informed that there is an Indian politician at the Big Boss house.
She didn't know anyone's name apart from mine, and so she did the needful and jotted down my name in the elimination round. One thing is sure that Ehsaan Qureshi wouldn't have eliminated me."
That was about his journey in the house so far. Jumping directly into controversies, especially with Sambhavna Seth and Monica Bedi, Sanjay defends speaking, "Sambhavna can never understand me.
When I came here in Bigg Boss 2, I was told that an item girl called Sambhavna Seth will be there too. I had never heard of her name neither I knew what kinds of item she does. I had a curiosity of knowing what pleasures these girls get in performing item numbers.
According to me, a woman's 'izzat' (self respect) lies in covering up her body. Since item girls have to dance in revealing clothes, why do you do such a job? Indian women are supposed to have a certain amount of dignity.
I just asked her a simple question to which she recreated hyper ally and blew things out of proportion. I never meant anything bad. She tried to woo everyone with her sorrows and tears."
But Sanjay didn't give up and finally he says he won the battle against the item girl. "A day before the elimination, Sambhavna came to me and asked for forgiveness with folded hands.
She even said that she wanted to touch my feet but couldn't do so because of the cameras monitoring every moment, " utters the politician.
Talking about being so sympathetic with Monica Bedi, Sanjay gets emotional, "Monica has seen a lot in her early life. Now she wants to lead a new life altogether.
People are still scared of her and because of that she is not getting a place to live in. I will keep my word and help her in getting a place to reside."
Speaking about the controversy created by fellow Politician Ramdas Athavale on his omission from the reality show, Sanjay takes up a defensive mode.
"If I would have earlier known that Ramdas Athavle was curious to jump in here, I would have happily given him my place. In fact he should be thankful to me that he didn't have to suffer at all like me. It's not an easy job to survive in Bigg Boss, " speaks Sanjay.
Sanjay now wants to get back to his daily work and spend more time with his family, "I was happy to be a part of the show, although for a small period."
When asked him if given a chance, would he like to go back to the Bigg Boss house, the politician quotes, "No never. I would never like to come back to the Bigg Boss house." - Pratik Maheshwari
