Jimmy Shergill must be one of the very few actors of recent times who has worked with a host of debutant directors from a very early time in his career.

These include - Sanjay Gadhvi (Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai), Aanant Mahadevan (Dil Vil Pyar Pyar), Sujit Sarkar (Yahaan), Tigmanshu Dhulia (Haasil) and of course Rajkumar Hirani (Munnabhai MBBS) amongst many others as the list gets endless. The talented actor has now added one more name to this list and it is that of director Neeraj Pandey.

His film with Neeraj Pandey, A Wednesday based on terrorism with the Mumbai train blasts as a backdrop is ready for release on September 5th.

Jimmy who plays a cop in this film probably for the first time in his career tells us, "It is a delight to work with new directors as they bring a fresh perspective and a whole new dimension to the film.

With their creative thinking they bring freshness to the whole subject incorporating innovative ideas. I have worked with so many first time directors and it has always been a pleasure working with all of them.

When Neeraj came to me with the script of Wednesday, I realized that there was a certain kind of energy in him. Apart from the script I really liked the way Neeraj had conceptualized the whole film.

His energy level is so high and it inspires all of us to give our best for the film. I would give him the complete credit for my performance in the film."
