Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan's performance in "The Last Lear" has been tagged as his best ever. But he says that his best is yet to be seen.

"It would be a terrible day for an artiste if people classify his contribution as his best. That would be the end of his work. There is always an opportunity to work better and the best is yet to come, " Amitabh said.

He added: "I am a simple actor. As long as I am offered challenging roles, I would like to take them and experiment with acting always."

Amitabh was here with his team of "The Last Lear" including actors Arjun Rampal, Shefali Shah and Divya Dutta, director Rituparno Ghosh and producer Arindam Chaudhuri to promote the film last week.

Though Preity Zinta plays a pivotal role in the film, she gave the event a miss, as she was busy shooting for a film abroad.
