Jeena Sirf Merre Liye on any ground cannot be compared with the music of the last Kareena-Tushar hit Mujhe Kucch Kehnaa Hai. It has seven songs, which are sung by Alka Yagnik, Sonu Nigam, Kay Kay, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Abhijeet, Babul Supriyo, Sunidhi Chauhan and Anuradha Sriram. Sameer has penned the lyrics for the film and the music is given by Nadeem-Shravan. They had also given the music for Mujhe Kucch Kehnaa Hai, which was a good album. The album is released on Puja Music, which is Vashu Bhagnani's new music company.
The first song of the album is the title song Jeena Sirf Merre Liye, sung by Alak Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Babul Supriyo. This songs sound much like `Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jaana Sanaam`. The chorus, vocals are similar. Alka Yagnik places the best efforts.
There are endless qawaali's on Nadeem-Shravan's soundtracks and Allah Allah is another one. Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik sing it. This song can be skipped easily if one wants. After that isTu Hainsola, which looks like they have taken from old Hindi film C.I.D.,Lekhe Pehla Pehla Pyar. Abhijeet and Kavita Krishnamurthty have tried their best to give out something good but the lyrics are quite boring.
Dupatta has been sung by Anuradha Sriram. It is for the first time Anuradha has worked with Nadeem-Shravan. The song is quite tolerable on the soundtrack, but it is quite unoriginal. The Punjabi lyrics match well with the very familiar Punjabi music.
Kash Tujhse Mile is one of Sameer's more eminent penning in the album but we get to hear a containing flute portions and a drumbeat. The song is romantic, but it is quite slow. Alka Yagnik's voice is soft but Kay Kay is loud. Kay Kay's voice suits Tusshar but the song is unappealing.Pyar Mange is like a pop song. The singers Babul Supriyo and Sunidhi Chauhan are not as good as they were heard singing in`Mohabbat Dil Ka Sukoon`? The music fails to get well with the familiar renditions.
Alka Yagnik and Babul Supriyo have sung Ek Bar to India. Babul Supriyo's contribution to the song is insignificant. It does not create any magic that a person would like to sit and hear the song again and again. While Nadeem-Shravan have got inspired from the music of old Hindi films. Vashu Bhagnani and Sameer have repeated the same titles from Mujhe Kucch Kehnaa Hai.
