He continues to struggle against the malice of a publishing group who are out to finish him. He is trying hard to ensure that he remains the country`s young superstar for a while. All that has been keeping Hrithik Roshan quite busy, but there is no doubt who the busiest man in the industry is. It is none other than Amitabh Bachchan, who belongs to the age group of Hrithik`s father Rakesh Roshan and is ten times more visible than the latter`s son whose popularity has been declining on a daily basis for quite a while.
Oops, this is what we have heard. Hrithik has confided to an industry source that he `envies Big B because of his phenomenal energy level." He went on to say: "I don`t know whether or not I will be able to work half as much as he does and with so much consistency even five years later." This was not bitching of course, but what one might add here is that Hrithik may not have that kind of huge work anyway if he continues to goof up by signing the wrong kind of films which are destined to flop at the box office.
After Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai none of his solo films have been able to make a mark at the box office. The only superhit he had thereafter was the multi-starrer Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham in which the limelight was hijacked by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Not that Hrithik`s career is in big trouble. The truth is far from that, but he does need to pull up his socks and choose a wide variety of roles to showcase his potential as an actor. For inspiration, he can always turn to the busy old man he admires so much.
