Apparently, Eesha Koppikhar, who plays an integral part of the film, hasn't been keen in pushing the film and has been missing from the promotional activities.
Worse, she hasn't been talking about the film much and has had her focus being diverted towards Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, a film which she rightly believes is her big ticket in Bollywood.
Confirms a source close to the film, "Eesha has just lost interest in Hello. In fact that has been quite a heartburn for everyone since each of them has worked so hard on the film.
Now that the film is finally releasing on theaters, Eesha's unwillingness to be a part of the promotional events has baffled everyone."
"Just recently, she missed out on being at a couple of events where Hello was being promoted.
Possibly there is some kind of insecurity that she got into since Hello is a multi starrer and there are two more leading ladies - Gul Panag and Amrita Arora - in it", says the source who didn't wish to be named.
Apparentl, y Gul Panag has been pretty gung-ho about the film and has been painting the town red with her support for the film. Surprisingly, the male leads - Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi and Arbaaz Khan - haven't been much heard either.
"For Gul this is an important film and those who have seen the movie have been stunned by her performance.
As Priyanka Kapoor, she is the most glamorous thing about the film, apart from Salman Khan of course (who is in a special appearance) because Amrita Arora has herself admitted that for the first time she would be seen in a non-glam role.
Naturally, Gul is going all out in promoting the film since she believes that it is 'her' film", the source adds.
How is Atul Agnihotri, the film's director, reacting to the situation? "He is just keeping a dignified self and is being quite about the whole affair.
It is a crucial project for him, especially due to the earlier debacle of Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahan, and doesn't want any controversy.
More than stars talking about the film, what he wants is the audience response to Hello. He knows that he has made the film well and believes that just like so many movies in the recent past, his Hello too would grow with word of mouth and sail through", concludes the source.
