The weather Gods are not exactly pleasing Bollywood filmmmakers shooting abroad as well. The Weather Gods must be really annoyed with Bollywood because at least four units shooting in different parts of the world have had to do with terrible weather in recent times.
Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar's Blue was being shot in Thailand and there that the film's unit had a tough time coping with the strong winds.
The hurricane Ike in New Mexico surely did not allow the unit of Rakesh Roshan's Kites to go on with the shooting smoothly. In South Africa, it was Kumar Taurani's turn to be hit by the weather.
Vivek Oberoi and others are shooting for his film there. In India, it was the unit of Ramesh Taurani's Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani which had to bear the brunt of the bad weather.
Exteme cold, irregular showers and strong winds blowing in Ooty did take their toll on the shooting. The only silver lining was that director Rajkumar Santoshi had indoor work also and, therefore, would shift indoors when the weather Gods played spoilsport.
