Grapevine had it how the Hollywood filmmaker William Caroll had second thoughts about casting Salman in Marigold. Siddharth Jain Vice President of Hyperion Pictures, India said that no decision had been made yet. "Let a clearer picture emerge and then we shall decide.

Till then Salman is very much a part of our film," he said. When asked that there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan had already been approached for the film Jain clarified that the stories were absolutely baseless and untrue. "William Caroll is going to be in India by the end of October. All decision will be taken then. Of course he was upset with the developments that took here. Who wouldn`t be? But as off now Salman Khan is very much a part of our project," Jain said.
