Director Kaushik Ghatak is caught unaware when this writer questions him about it.

"You may draw parallels with a character or two, but the storyline is completely different. EK VIVAAH AISA BHI is about sacrifice, love, dedication. It's not similar to TAPASYA, " Kaushik clarifies.

There's an overdose of family dramas on television, so how would he rate the prospects of EK VIVAAH AISA BHI at the box-office?

"Family dramas will never go out of fashion. A sizeable section of movie-going audience still prefers going out for a film that the entire family can enjoy. Also, let's not forget, a good film always finds its audience, " he says. Point noted!
