Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal are once again coming together to organize a rock concert, 'Rock On!! For Humanity', in aid of the children of Bihar.
This concert is stated to be held on 31st of October, at the MMRDA grounds at Bandra Kurla Complex and is in association with the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust.
This live rock concert will feature
India's leading rock bands like Pentagram, Parikrama, Pin Drop Violence, Dream Out Loud, Shaa'ir & Func, Rabbi, Kailasa and the trio Shankar Ehsaan and Loy along with Kunal Ganjawala, Shaan, and many more.
Talking about the concert, Farhan Akhtar says, "As the name suggests 'Rock On for Humanity' is an attempt to bridge the gap through the power of music. Ritesh, Arjun and I strongly believe that music is what binds
us together.
It's a great opportunity to bring people under one umbrella to help the unfortunate. Numerous children who have lost their homes, parents, and as human beings it's our responsibility to make sure
that they get all the love and care they deserve".
Adds Ritesh Sidhwani, "Children are always special and they make our lives even more special. I do hope with this effort of ours we are able to bring back the lost hope for these children who have been affected by this
calamity. I would like to request each and every one to be part of this endeavor of ours''.
Arjun Rampal, who feels very strongly for this cause, says, "My heart goes out for all those people who have lost everything in this untimely catastrophe, I can never imagine what those small children, who survived but
lost their families in this incident are going through.
'Rock On for Humanity' is an effort from our side to bring a smile on these children's faces and work towards a better future for them. We just hope that each
and every one supports us in our humble efforts to make this cause a huge success."
Priya Dutt too lends her support to the cause and adds, "This initiative taken by Farhan, Ritesh and Arjun is a very strong way to voice ones support for a cause which needs support from as many people as possible.
