The former Miss World Yukta Mookhey will tie the knot with New York-based businessman and financial consultant Prince Tuli on Sunday according to sources.
Actually after her Miss World win way back in 1999, she hasn't really made any news for the right reasons. She's been a Bollywood struggler for long relegated to B and C grade flicks like 'Pyaasa', 'Memsahib', 'Kathputli' etc. So unlike other beauty queens like Sushmita, Aishwarya, Lara and Priyanka!
Even the likes of Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza etc had been better!
But her bridegroom- to –be who had met Yukta at a dinner party some months ago and 'had fallen for her' at-first-sight doesn't have any issues at all.
He's a consultant with the leading New York-based J.P. Morgan company and is the nephew of Nagpur's leading hotelier Mohabat Singh Tuli.
Prince also owns two companies in the US megapolis, but plans to shift his business to Delhi. He said their diverse backgrounds wouldn't be a problem.
He said, "With both families readily consenting, we decided to tie the knot at the earliest rather than spending time in dating and stuff like that.
What I liked most in Yukta was that her Bollywood background has not taken away from her the innate simplicity and respect for elders and the Indian culture that she imbibed while growing up. In fact her interest in the hospitality industry will be of immense help to me."
The marriage will be solemnised in traditional Punjabi style at the Kamptee Road Gurudwara Sunday noon. A reception will be held at Tuli International Hotel the same evening.
They plan to go for their honeymoon in the Maldives after spending some time in Colombo where Prince owns two houses.
