Raja Menon's controversial film Barah Anna starring Tannishtha Chatterjee ,who's also known as queen of parallel cinema ,dares to put across your face the other side of India.

It shows the insensitive wealthy Indian's discriminatory attitude towards his domestic staff.

Raja Menon's Barah Anna is being compared to Booker Prize Winner Aravind Adiga's novel The White Tiger. "Tannistha's performance has drawn immense attention because she plays a central in the film," said Raja Menon.

Talking about Barah Anna Menon said, "My film takes a brutal look at how the poor in Bombay, a teeming metropolis full of extremes, cope with their everyday problems."
