"I was returning from the premiere of the new Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' late in the night when this huge Tata truck in front of my Scorpio suddenly took a sharp turn and banged my car, " she says.
Though Shama admits she was a bit shaken up as it happened, she got out of her car and managed to stop the truck driver from fleeing. "I almost fought with him on the road, and for the first time in my life; ekdum filmi style. I didn't let him budge from the spot, " she adds.
Later, the cops turned up and Shama took the driver to a Police Station in Goregaon, Mumbai, and filed a TAD (Traffic Accident Data) complaint (number 104-08).
This was also for the first time in her life that Shama actually entered a Police Station. "I had only seen them in movies, but I realised a real Police Station looks quite different, " she quips.
"On hindsight, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am myself surprised at my guts. I still cant believe that I actually got out on the road to face the truck driver.
I was even about to hit that guy for his negligence when the cops landed on the spot. Since I'd just seen the James Bond movie, it seems I was in a full-on Bond mood while everyone was staring at the fight on the road, " she laughs looking a bit embarrassed and a little proud of her retaliation.
Asked if she enjoyed the Bond movie as much as her road fight, Shama giggles, "I love Daniel Craig. I think he is the best Bond ever, different and stylish. He's stronger than the others, quite a dude."
After winning accolades for her participation in the popular dance reality-show 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' on Colors last month, the actress is doing a film with Rohit Roy Productions. She has also signed two other feature films to be made by the renowned short film writer-director Kamlesh Kunti.
