And she's looking for a proper home in Mumbai to stay put here.
She clarifies that her hibernation had nothing to do with her personal life and rumours of the trouble in her marriage to golfer Jyoti Randhawa.
She has reportedly said, "It didn't have anything to do with my married life. Post 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', things moved too quickly. I couldn't understand the industry's fast pace and got cold feet. There was
suddenly much work coming my way and I didn't know how to handle it."
But now she says she's ready to handle her career and her marriage quite well.
She says, "People can say what they want, but there's no room for gossip between Jyoti and me. As for the long distances taking a toll, Jyoti's schedule keeps him out of country for almost nine months so I'm sure we
both can manage to steal a few weeks when he's in the country."
She's compared to the supremely talented Smita Patil and she loves it. And it means more to her because she didn't expect such a positive response from critics and the viewers, especially since she's
married.
She's seems to very pleased with her comeback film 'Sorry Bhai'. Sudhir Mishra might be upset with her for not making a comeback with his film but she's quite okay with it.
She says, "I prefer to consider it as a new beginning instead. In the past three years I realised that acting is my passion and that is what I really want to do.
Today I am sure of the kind of work I want to be do
and 'Sorry Bhai' seemed like the perfect way to begin. I'm okay with all genres. But I would really love to be romanced by Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on screen."
Looks like an interesting phase in Chitrangada's life is about to begin! On that note, we still wonder if she's doing Aamir's 'Delhi Belly' or not!
