Director Sudipto Chattopadhya who is currently making Pankh for whitefeather films with Bipasha Basu is pretty nervous.

Pankh with its bold theme of gender identity had already created ripples in the film industry circle. To calm his frail nerves down, Sudipto had a special screening of the rushes of Pankh for a select few from the film fraternity and check on their reaction.

Sudipto heaved a sigh of relief when his select guests stepped out of the preview theatre with a smile on their face.

Sudipto said, "I was glad that the audience could easily connect to the main protagonist emotionally. The theme of Pankh touched their hearts and that itself was a triumphant moment for me.

Everyone who saw the scenes we showed them was full of praise. It was heart warming."
