The buzz is that Balaji Motion Pictures and Sanjay Dutt Productions have allegedly broken off their partnership, which they formed in July this year, just about four months ago.
The two production houses had a nine film deal worth Rs 500 crore for three years. Dutt was apparently supposed to act in the films as well and had even been paid a big sum as advance.
Actually Balaji czarina Ekta Kapoor was peeved about a lot of things and she's decided to call off the deal. She thought that the film's publicity was handled in a shoddy manner. She was angry that neither Dutt nor Suniel Shetty, the co-producer of the film was present at the film's press conferences before the film's release.
She has however reportedly made it clear that she's no hard feelings towards Dutt.
The track record of Balaji Motion Pictures films hasn't really been good. Earlier this year 'Mission Istaanbul' bombed at the box office.
We think these guys really need to pull their socks up. They might have a monopoly in the TV industry but Bollywood is a totally different ball game altogether!
