After her much tomtommed affair with Kamal Haasan, Simran, who, by the way has had a temple built in her name by her fans in Tamil Nadu, has decided to try her luck once again in Bollywood.

The dusky star from down south is all set to stage her comeback in Hindi films with Mahendra Dhariwal`s Aatma, which has Sonu Sood as the leading man. Though Chakravarthy (of Satya fame) was slated to direct the film, after the colossal failure of his Durga, Mahendra Dhariwal decided to ask Vicky Sharma, a new director to take over the project.

Simran`s youngest sister Jyoti will also make her debut in Aatma as the second heroine. Mahendra has decided to christen Jyoti with the screen name Manasi in Aatma, which, by the way had earlier been titled Farebi.Interestingly Aryan Vaid was to play the lead opposite Simran before Sonu stepped in.
