The young actor earned a lot of fan following by acting in soaps like Kavyanjali and Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka. Eijaaz may have got a chance to enter the world of tinsel town but now too he is proud to be called a television actor. "It feels nice to be known and liked by so many people worldwide.
I just do my work properly because that is what I am paid for. I am really happy people like my work and my acting. It becomes a strong inspiration then and then I try to put in more efforts, " speaks Eijaaz.
The actor now seems to only concentrate on the film projects but that doesn't means he has forgotten his past. "I just love television. I earned name and fame because of television only. I really am thankful to people who liked my work, " utters Eijaaz.
Born in Hyderabad, Eijaaz has lived most of his life in Chembur, located in Mumbai. Every small screen actor does have a dream to make it big on big screen; likewise even Eijaaz is excited with his first flick Meerabai Not Out.
He says, "You can call the film a romantic-comedy. It is a sweet love story and somewhat a love triangle. I play the character of Dr. Arjun Awasti. In the film I love Meera (played my Mandira Bedi) and she also loves me (Arjun Awasti) but her priority gets mixed up sometimes because she is also in love with Anil Kumble because she has a passion for cricket in the film."
The actor has surely enjoyed to work amid a cool schedule in compared to the otherwise busy and hectic shooting schedules of daily soaps.
Nevertheless Eijaaz got to work alongside the established actors like Anumpaum Kher and Mandira Bedi., "Ohh it was really a wonderful working with such great and known people. Each one of them was remarkable in their own way. I really got to learn a lot especially from Anupam ji.
Eijaaz is even excited to having worked alongside Mahesh Manjrekar (the man who has directed an only hit film ‘Vastaav' and after a line of flops trying his luck in acting).
The young gun is all praise for her co-star Mandira too, "Mandira is too sweet a girl. She is indeed a hardcore cricket fan. I have never seen any female fan so enthusiastic as her. Her passion for cricket is really worth praising."
The actor has left his faith to be a film star to be decided by the viewers. "Like any other new comer I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. One cannot really decide the future of the film, whether it is going to be a hit or not. I just did my job, rest lies in the hands of the audience, " averts Eijaaz.
Eijaaz doesn't have to bank only on this debut film as there are couple of more projects in his kitty which could change his destiny, "I am doing a Dharmesh Darshan's film, titled, ‘Bhanvraa' and a PNC film, titled, ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'."
