Patience pays. Preeti Jhangiani must have realised that by now. Her debut film, Mohabbatein, hit the screens two years ago, but sadly she was completely lost in the multistarrer. But unlike most of her contemporaries all out to prove their worth, she didn`t grab any and every role that came her way.

She waited for the right ones to fall in her bag. A `terribly self respecting person", she wouldn`t beg producers for a role and would rather hone her dancing skills and physical fitness. She is now reaping the benefit. Two of her films, Annarth and Wah! Tera Kya Kehna, released last Friday and the lady is back in demand having signed many big films. One such great film is Madhur Bhandarkar`s Police Force, the cast of which is now headed by actor and minister of state for health Shartrughan Sinha.

And this time Preeti has made sure she gets "what she deserves" as an actor and has bagged the only deglamourised role in the script. Police Force will also feature Akshay Kumar, Suneel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Tabu. Let`s hope Preeti gets her due in a film crowded with heavyweights.
