The unit of 'Lamhaa' hasn't had a smooth sailing.

There was a lot of hue and cry when Bipasha Basu ran away from the shoot in Kashmir. After there were talks that the director would replace her with Vidya Balan (with whom her boyfriend John Abraham was rumoured to be having a fling) she decided to return.

Now the news is that the otherwise professional Sanjay Dutt has also played truant and failed to turn up at all.

A close source says, "The first schedule in Kashmir was disrupted when the cast and crew received death threats from local terrorist groups and had to return to Mumbai.

Now the Kashmir valley has been recreated at a set in Mumbai but Sanju hasn't turned up for the shoot at all. In the last week alone, the unit was waiting for three days at a stretch and the actor remained absent."

The source adds, "Bipasha kept waiting for Sanjay to arrive. The DoP, an American cinematographer was also kept waiting."

But director Rahul Dholakia has a totally different story to tell.

He says, "Sanju has been shooting every single day and so has Bipasha. He's even shooting tomorrow. I really don't know who spreads such false rumours."

Now we wonder if this is a diplomatic answer or he just wants to avoid being upfront about the troubles galore.
