First appreciating her in the looks department, Arshad gushes, "She is looking stunning in 'Kaun Bola' and mark my words, she has never looked so pretty before in any of her films. She is really looking very nice in the film."
He is impressed by her acting skills as well. "Once the camera is on and you share a frame with her, it doesn't feel like you are acting like her. She is very natural.
In 'Krazzy 4', I hardly had any scenes with her. It was not a romantic film. Even in 'Lagey Rahe Munnabhai', we didn't have much to do together. But after working with her closely in 'Kaun Bola', I have got to realize that she is a fabulous actor", says Arshad.
What made him go for Dia? After all ladies like Konkona Sen Sharma and Urvashi Sharma, who was almost finalized, were supposed to be in strong contention for the role earlier?
"I needed someone who was a good actor and could portray the part of a woman who could carry a huge responsibility of running an entire magazine single handedly. Her being good looking was only an added bonus".
Arshad is also full of praise for Boman Irani who plays an important role in the film. "He will always remain to be a sweet heart. He never goes wrong, regardless of whatever role is offered to him. I am glad he is a part of 'Kaun Bola'", says Arshad fondly.
Tentatively titled as 'I Believe In Angels' throughout its making in London, Arshad finally zeroed in on 'Kaun Bola' as the final title for his first production. Directed by Kabeer Kaushik, the film brings together the director and the actor who had earlier come together in critically acclaimed 'Seher'.
