Naseeruddin Shah and Big B are from separate leagues altogether. While one is a megastar, the other has always managed to stand out with his fine acting abilities.

It has been 30 years of fine performances from Naseer. And he just delivered a hit like 'A Wednesday' at the box office which was a surprise for him as well, because he thought that it would get 'killed'. But now one of the finest actors in filmdom is supposedly facing a unique career problem.

These days he's being offered films that are rejected by Amitabh Bachchan.

He had done Jagmohan Mundra's 'Shoot On Sight', a film which was first offered to the Big B.

Paresh Rawal's 'Maharathi' too was offered to AB but he turned it down. In fact he also gets offers for characters with physical attributes defined by the Big B's personality.

He's said, "It doesn't take too much imagination to know whom a role is written for when the character being offered to me is described as 'a towering personality with a baritone'.

One script actually said 'with a neat white goatee'. Can it get any clearer? I can show you the scripts. And these scripts don't even bother to disguise whom they really want for the part. They feel I should be 'honoured' to be getting these roles."

Interestingly Naseer rejected Kaizad Gustad's 'Boom' which went later to Bachchan Sr. and he didn't do so, because in his words 'it stank'.

But the Big B admires him a lot too. He has reportedly recently said that he wished to share screen space with Naseer which hasn't happened after so many years and in spite of their careers starting at the same time.
