I was giving my shot and he was expected to come in next few minutes for his scene with me, but as soon as I finished mine, a voice called out from behind the monitor and there was the king Khan himself who came to me congratulate me for the take.
Then what happened is dutifully noted down in my pink book in which I have kept the memories of the shooting days of 'Dil to Pagal Hai'.
Next two days Shahrukh sir made me feel so comfortable that he literally made me forget that he was THE king khan. And this comfort level was not only with me but even with all the other co-actors!
He maintained such a fantastic rapport with everyone that work proceeded smoothly and quickly. So much so that he got finished in 2 days instead of 3 as originally planned.
The king not only thinks about himself in the film but also his co actors. He is of the opinion that if the film has to look good, every body has to look great. And that is why i feel he is KING - for his thin KING.
As Ive always said, working in Yashraj is equivalent to working in Hollywood. Ive had the honour of working with Yash ji and now with Aditya, it was quite a memorable experience. Like father, like son, I must say.
Aditya is also a perfectionist and it is so nice to have him back...After writing 'Dhamaal', i definitely want to write for Shahrukh Khan and Adi. I'm sure Adi will get the lost glory of cinema back to theaters with RNBJ, like he did with DDLJ.
