Lara Dutta in 'No Entry', Rimi Sen In 'Golmaal', Vidya Balan in 'Heyy Baby', Kareena Kapoor in 'Golmaal Returns' didn't really achieve wonders of any kind.
It's been the men in the cast who have stolen the show and the women have always been relegated to the background.
But Deepika Padukone isn't disheartened. She wants to show off her comic flair and not really get overshadowed by the men in her movies. She wants to do the same even though the movie has actors with the comic caliber of Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh in director Sajid Khan's next – 'House Full'.
She says her role in the movie is not superficial and is a properly etched part with a lot of comic moments. She also says that she's determined to give it her best shot.
She hopes to manage with the vision of director Sajid Khan who, she thinks, has "a great sense of humour". Let's hope that all the big hopes lead to something big, really.
