42 Kms embraces the voyage of these five people and their triumph on challenges and adverse circumstances. It's a simple story of a driving force that comes from within to conquer soured relations, shattered confidence or simply proving your mettle.
Sanjana (Mandira Bedi), a housewife whose world is limited to her dream home, two adorable children and loving husband. Life is all rosy till she finds herself on a crossroad where she realizes that she had become so complacent in her world that she forgot her true identity. Will she be able to meet the true Sanjana on her journey of 42 Kms?
Life is not beyond deals, profits and collaborations for Ravi Anand (Bikram Saluja). Work and success are the only things that drive him day in and day out.
He has no time for anything but his most ambitious project, which he hopes will take him closer to his goal of being one of the country's premier businessmen. A meeting with his investors goes in a direction he never ever fathomed. Ravi Anand has never run away from a situation in the past.

Raju (Purab Kohli) is a young lad from a small village. Son of a wealthy farmer, his life revolves around his girlfriend Sumitra. But when Sumitra's father rejects a good for nothing bum such as Raju, he now has a challenge of proving his mettle, not to others, but to himself.
