Not many actors begin their career with a horror film but Adhyayan Suman has no regrets to play a lead role in one such film. Of course HAAL-E-DIL was actually his debut film but Adhyayan insists that it was a faux-pas and it is indeed the Mohit Suri film that he considers as his launch pad.

"I don't think it is really unconventional to kick start your career with a film like RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES", says Adhyayan who is paired opposite girlfriend Kangna Ranaut in the film, "Moreover, it is not just a quintessential horror film. It has ample romantic moments and thriller elements to it. Add to it some great music."

He is also pleased that in his very first major film, he has been able to demonstrate various shades of his acting skills.

"I wanted the kind of role where I could show different sides of me as an actor. RAAZ - TMC is one such platform that has allowed me to do so. I consider myself really lucky that Bhatts believed in me to deliver goods.

Moreover, what works most in case of this film is that there is a definite story taking the film forward. It's not a frivolous piece of cinema and people would certainly be able to relate to it", he adds.

Meanwhile, he is mighty pleased with the kind of reaction his two numbers have got that are currently on air - 'Soniye' and the music video of 'O Jaana'. "These are two of the best songs in the album and also 'Maahi'.

Bhatts have never gone wrong in their music and Mohit Suri (the director) too has a certain knack for getting chartbuster tracks in his films.

I am happy with the kind of response that each of the songs from the film has got so far. I know for sure that they would only grow further after the release of the film", concludes Adhyayan.

With Emraan Hashmi in a pivotal role, RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is all set for a 23rd January release.
