The girl who left the fair lovelies of Bollywood squirming, with her bronze presence in Raaz, vowed her fans even in Chor Machaye Shor and Gunaah, despite these films not doing too well. Well-wishers of the tawny Bips, with those spell-casting eyes, insist that the actress was a victim of buri nazar (evil eye), considering the frequency of her ill-health.
First it was fever, then stomach disorder and more recently a slip-disc, which kept her bed-ridden for a while. But the professional Ms Basu, who makes no bones about being here for moolah, name and art (in that order), says that she feels guilty resting at home, while her producers have to bear inconviniences. The actress though overtly cautious has begun shooting. Partly medication and partly the care showered by her knight-in-shining-armour, model-actor John Abraham, has been responsible for Basu`s recovery.
Bipasha is all dreams about her upcoming projects including Amit Saxena`s Jism, Vikram Bhatt`s Aitbaar, Madhur Bhandarkar`s untitled film. The model-turned actress, who has also shot for a Coke commercial with Hrithik Roshan, says that despite the occupational hazards, acting is something which she imagines herself doing best.
