Dimple`s dolls, Twinkle and Rinkie, have inherited their mother`s tilt towards the off-beat. Though Dimple, the actress, has earned enough credibility, Dimple, the woman, has never ceased to allure. Despite her iconic beauty and the award for Rudaali, the lady has remained reclusive, finding happiness in simple things like candle-making, poetry, painting and cootchie-cooing with grandson Araav.
Elder daughter Twinkle also etched her own rules. After her marriage to Akshay Kumar and subsequent motherhood, the girl refused to play a paranoid star wife, keeping tabs on her handsome hunk She preferred to channelise her creativity in The White Window, her lifestyle store. The savvy entrepreneur has brought many a twinkle into star homes with her taste for aesthetics. The younger Rinkie (of Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi fame), has now turned Beauty Editor of the Indian version of Seventeen, an international girl magazine. She will be responsible for conceptualising and assigning articles to the team on generation-now themes. Rinkie assures that the desi avataar of Seventeen, which will include tips on beauty and boyfriends, career and fashion, will be more interactive than its foreign cousin.
But, it`s not as if Rinkie has run short of film offers. She is looking forward to the release of Mahesh Manjrekar`s Pran Jaye Par Chawl Na Jaaye, Sujoy Ghosh`s Jhankar Beats, Mahesh Dattani`s Mango Souffle and the Mammooty flick Ek Din Anjaane Mein.
