It`s probably his best chance to prove himself. Boney Kapoor`s Khushi has raised expectations. Understandably, Fardeen Khan is gung-ho about this much-hyped film, which pits him against the volatile Kareena Kapoor who, according to all those who`ve seen the final print, is "simply brilliant".
Must say Fardeen is one smart alec since he refused to refer to the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film which were super duper hits. "There was no pressure at all, you see," explains the actor who is fast earning the reputation as the first choice for producers attempting any Hindi remake of a South Indian film.
The actor, who has been told by astrologers that Lady Luck would smile on him only after he gives up bachelorhood, is also planning marriage to long-time sweetheart Ruhin Jaiswal early next year. Perhaps some khushi is round the corner for Fardeen at long last!
