He is a good-looking dude but so what? Does it in any way add to his performing skills? Much as Arjun Rampal would like to believe that his physical appearance would make him a super star, things have been going from bad to worse with the model-turned-actor producing one dud after another. The only silver lining is that he has signed a few good films. Barring Aishwarya Rai`s home production Dil Ka Rishta, all his films are, however, multi-hero projects.
With competition hotting up and more and more newcomers descending on tinselville, Rampal is a harried man. Most of these greenhorns may not be explosive material in emotion charged scenes, but they are almost as good as him in most other departments. Even some of his contemporaries - Dino Morea, Bikram Saluja and John Abraham - are pretty much sure of finding a toehold in Mumbai, now that some films with urban themes have made their mark.
It is believed Ash, who he is great friends with, has added another male lead, Priyanshu Chatterjee, in a guest appearance to DKR, when she found him wanting? So, what should Rampal`s strategy be? Get on with life even if it means playing second fiddle to all the established heroes? Or learn the ropes of acting before it`s too late? The choice is yours, Arjun!
