Aamir Khan played the corporate head honcho of a cellular company who travels in luxury cars with a sleuth of bodyguards in Ghajini.

However, when he falls in love with a simple middle class girl played by Asin (who mistakes him to be a struggling actor), he doesn't feel like revealing his true identity for the fear of losing her.

So you have the CEO of a company travelling in auto-rickshaws, chomping on road-site watermelon and even drinking tea from the saucer all to win over his lady love. Cho Chweet!!!

Emraan Hashmi in Jannat
Emraan Hashmi has always had the image of a naughty boy on screen. Even in Vishesh Flims' Jannat, Emraan displayed this side to perfection.

Emraan who plays an ambitious lower middle class guy in the film goes all out to impress the girl whom he falls in love with at first sight. Not many of us would have the guts to break the glass of a showroom and pick up a necklace for our loved one but Emraan does that.

He doesn't mind being arrested for this deed and doesn't repent his act one bit. What's more? To impress his girl he even bets money on a cricket match and within no time buys her a luxury car. Indeed this one's a completely mad lover boy.

Imran Khan in Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na
Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na brought about a feeling of nostalgia in many of us. After all, we all have had our share of crushes and heartbreaks.

In the film, Imran and Genelia start of being best friends and don't realize till the very end that they have feelings for each other. But when they do, there is no stopping the lover boy. Imran breaks out of the lock-up, rides a horse (yes you read it right, a horse) on a curfew night and rushes to the airport to stop the love of his life from going away.

Despite breaking a dozen odd security barricades, Imran finally manages to stop his love and even proposes to her right in the middle of the airport by breaking into a song 'Tera Mujhse He Pehle Ka Naata Koi...'. How romantic!!!

Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Shah Rukh Khan got out of his comfort zone and played the lovable Surinder Sahni in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

However, when he realizes that Suri is too boring for his wife to fall in love with, he undergoes a complete metamorphosis and becomes the 'cool and macho' Raj. Rajshris are always known to make opulent family dramas with song, dance, romance, marriage etc. Their latest venture Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi was no different.

Sonu Sood and Eesha Koppikhar play love birds in this flick and the two are all set to marry when Eesha's father dies suddenly. Eesha then becomes 'the son of the home' and decides that she will not marry till she first helps her younger siblings settle down in life.

Sonu Sood does something which not many of today's 'Majnus' and 'Romeos' would do. While many of us get bugged even if our loved one is delayed by a few minutes, Sonu waits 12 long years patiently for the love of his life without complaining one bit. Phew!!! Quite a feat this is!

Ranbir Kapoor in Bachna Ae Haseeno
Ranbir's character in Bachna Ae Haseeno is a born flirt, a complete Casanova. Dumping girls after giving them false promises is nothing new to him but after his own love dumps him, he realizes his folly and what he does next is quite unheard of for a Hindi film hero.

Ranbir apologizes to the girls whom he had promised to love. He re-unites his ex-flame with her husband when he learns that the couple is having a tough time due to his deeds, and then to get the forgiveness of his second girlfriend, he is ready to even be her secretary for errand jobs.

Wonder how many of us would be ready to carry bags, serve breakfast, clean the tables, and even dance at the drop of a hat for the person we love?

This one probably takes the cake. When his reel-life sweetheart (Priyanka Chopra) dies in a road accident, Hurman Baweja at first is heartbroken and shattered.

Then in a sudden turn of events, he realizes that his love is not dead but is just transported to another era. It's then that Hurman enters the time machine and takes a ride to the future to get back the love of his life. Hurman truly should be crowned Aashiq No.1.
