Anurag Basu was supposed to direct 'Suicide Bomber' for the Bhatts a few years ago.

That was when Anurag was working with Vishesh Films owned by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.

But currently he doesn't really share the same kind of rapport with the Bhatts as he enjoyed before and it's not known whether they will ask him to direct 'Suicide Bomber' for them or not.

At the time when the story of 'Suicide Bomber' was constructed, Anurag had already completed the blockbuster 'Gangster' financed by Vishesh Films.

The Bhatts wanted Anurag to stay under their wing forever. And they were reportedly not happy about Anurag moving to UTV to make 'Life In A Metro'. Currently he's directing 'Kites' for Rakesh Roshan.

But he recently also said that he wants to revive 'Suicide Bomber' with new actors.

Mahesh Bhatt reportedly is not happy about it. He considers the idea to be his own and the title belonging to Vishesh Films only.

More so, since it was supposed to be the launch pad for his son Sunny Bhatt! The male protagonist has a strong presence in the film as it's a tale originating from the perspective of a terrorist.

We'll have to wait and watch to find out how this issue finally settles for the Bhatts and Anurag. This sure would be interesting.
