That's Sonam Kapoor for you, the 'Saawariya' girl, who is looking extremely beautiful and happening on screen. And this has been made possible because of a bunch of brilliant people who, in her own words, have come together to design her look.
Sonam, a little more than a year back when 'Saawariya' released, there were ton loads of expectations from you. Now when 'Delhi 6' arrived, you were already a household name.
The pressure on you must be lesser this time around though, right?
No, actually I have never been under pressure, be it 'Saawariya' or now 'Delhi 6'.
I seriously believe that if there is too much of pressure, you can't deliver properly as you are constantly thinking of the outcome. I like the journey more than the outcome.
But people do have expectations. Doesn't that linger on somewhere in the mind?
See, I want people to appreciate me and my role and think about it. So in this context, yes I am conscious about the fact that people do have good expectations from me.
They are right in speculating that from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, have I become better or worse.
Isn't that a scary situation?
What's the point? And why just me, even the biggest actors are compared with their previous films.
People do talk about whether Shah Rukh Khan's movie will be bigger than his last film or whether Akshay's next film will make him # 1 or a star's next big release would get a good or a bad review. This way no one is safe ever. Whenever you are doing any form of art, it all boils down to public appreciation.
