The 54th Annual Filmfare awards were raining men and women. Everyone was waiting to feel the grip of the ‘black lady'. The ‘black lady', the most prestigious and respected award in the Indian film fraternity was something on everyone's mind and certainly when one walks to see the ‘black lady' how can he/she not be in a black attire.

We choose 10 most deserving and elegantly dressed people in ‘black' and why wont they, in the end it was everything for the ‘black lady'.

We pick 1 man and 1 woman in random.

1. Amitabh Bachchan: The angry young man as he is often called was not looking angry at all but instead made a charming entry and wooed all his fans and media.

2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: The only female to wear a black saree was the former Miss. World, Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. No doubt simple and sweet, she was someone who made people think that ‘simplicity rocks'.

3. Arjun Rampal: The man is indeed a class in his work as well as in real life. Arjun was looking dashing on the red carpet with one of ‘black lady' he got for Best Supporting actor in Rock On.

4. Kangana Ranaut: After Fashion and Raaz 2 this female is certainly on cloud 9. Looking stunning in a super sexy backless black number. Kangana burned the carpet with her sultry looks and with Adhyayan Suman all the time besides her holding her hand.

5. Neil Nitin Mukesh: This guy has a lot to promise in Bollywood it seems. With his film, Aa Dekhe Zara coming soon, Neil is certainly having his chin up especially after bagging Madhur's upcoming film, ‘Jail'. His suit was a shinny one, just as he is shining these days.

6. Sushmita Sen: She is simply gorgeous as she always looks. Sushmita is one female who keeps things simple and yet over powers every other heroine when it comes to looks. A simple gown seriously rocks on her.

7. Kunal Khemu: He is short, but he is an upcoming star nowadays. His latest film, Dhoodte Reh Jaoge is all set to hit the box-office. Kunal was looking smart in a sparkling black suit.

8. Payal Rohatagi: She gained a lot of attention after Big Boss 2. Payal wore a black sultry saree showing most of her navel and more. Jewellery on her body added more fuel to fire.

9. Kunal Kapoor: Looking at this guy just one thing came on our mind and that is Men in Black. The dude reminded us of the great Will Smith when we saw him in a black suit.

10. Genelia d'souza: Post Jaane Tu.. Genelia is someone who till date is receiving complements. The black off shoulder gown looked amazing on her body.

These were our 10 best handpicked men and women who walked the red carpet and added more sparkle to the event. Off course there were other stars too who burned the carpet.

Anyways these stars who choose black to wear for our black lady were certainly amazing. We are certainly looking for some more black next year. The ‘black lady' will for sure be happy and so will we.
