Anurag Kashyap bids writing goodbye
Anurag Kashyap started his career as a writer with a bang with Ramgopal Varma's Satya. Since then even after turning director he is more acclaimed for his crazy writing work than direction what with films like No Smoking, Dev D and of course the well acclaimed Black Friday.

His written dialogues for films like Nayak – The Real Hero and Yuva were well applauded. But now, Kashyap has decided to bid writing goodbye and concentrate on direction.

Kashyap's present writing assignments on hand include – Goldie Behl's next after Drona titled Shor, Rensil D'Silva's Jehaad starring Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi and film by Homi Adajania (Being Cyrus) which is a Saif Ali Khan production.

And finally there is UTV's Gurudutt which may see Aamir Khan playing the title role of the acclaimed actor-filmmaker. But once he is done with these he will not write anything unless for close buddy Vikramaditya Motwane if he turns director. Motwane was Kashyap's co-writer in films like Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal and Dev D.

Well, it is definitely going to be a major loss for Kashyap's writing fans as his each single film has succeeded in achieving cult status of its own.
