In these times of recession and extreme competition, one actress who is sitting smug is Rani Mukherjee. She has just come up with the best performance of her life in Shaad Ali`s Saathiya. But that alone is not the reason she is thrilled.

This queen of hearts has plum projects in hand, including Shah Rukh Khan`s home production, Chalte Chalte. She is also part of J.P.Dutta`s war saga, LoC, which features half the tinseltown. Rani has been cast opposite Ajay Devgan in this film based on the Kargil episode. Though the duo had worked earlier in Milan Luthria`s Chori Chori, the film is still languishing in the cans.
