There is a strong buzz going on in industry circles that Ashutosh Gowariker is re-shooting a majority of his film What's
Your Rashee's main lead Hurman Baweja's portions.
Sources reveal, "Shoot for the film first began on December 6th. It was meant to be a start to finish shoot but then
certain production delays changed the original plan. The shooting then got spread over with gaps in between.
In the meanwhile Hurman Baweja's second film Victory released in January end and flopped badly. A bigger blow came
for Hurman when Sanjay Leela Bhansali dropped him from his production Chenab Gandhi immediately after its flopping.
Hurman was replaced by John Abraham in this period film. Now all of this it seems made Gowariker and his
film's co-producers UTV insecure of their hero it seems. Hurman was already receiving flak for his too much forced
resemblance to Hrithik Roshan.
Gowariker-UTV combine's last film, Jodhaa Akbar starred Hrithik and both understood well that a damage control
exercise needed to be done as soon before it was too late.
So it is learnt that they completely revamped
Hurman's look for the film and got re-shot certain key portions where they felt Hurman was appearing like a Hrithik
clone."
What's Your Raashee? is based on a Gujrati novel Kimball Ravenswood by Shri Madhu Rye, and is a story revolving
around a young Gujarati man in pursuit of his dream girl with the catch to find her within 10 days in order to save his
family from an unforeseen ordeal, which leads to an array of confusion, chaos and a hilarious joy ride. It stars
Hurman's ex-girlfriend Priyanka Chopra as the female lead.
