Leander is passe. Mahima has learnt to live without the ace champion. She is making a comeback with a big bang. She has signed up for Tanuja Chandra's (of Dushman and the forgettable Sangharsh fame) upcoming Vaasta.

The film, which will be produced by Vishesh Films in association with the Sahara Group, also has Priyanshu Chatterjee, Vasundhara Das and model-turned actor Aryan Vaid in pivotal roles. "It tells the story of a fading actress and a convict, charged with murdering her husband," says Chandra, "We intend going on the floors beginning February with a start-to-finish schedule. The film`s music will be composed by Jatin-Lalit and budget of the film will be lower compared to my earlier films," informs Chandra.

Chaudhary is also the latest addition on the Baghban bandwagon, the much talked about Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer. This is the first time that Chaudhary has been teamed with Salman Khan. Clearly, this young lady with a strong heart but a stronger mind is not allowing her lost love to affect her career moves. Way to go, Ms. Chaudhary.
