Remember the curly haired beauty, Gauri Karnik, who disappeared after her first Hindi film Sur with Lucky Ali ?? She is all set to return, this time to the small screen with Specials @ 10 on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 10.00 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Gauri will be seen playing the title character of Rewa in the Heroine series from Madhur Bhandarkar on Specials @ 10.

Rewa is the illegitimate daughter of yesteryears heroine Maya (Aditi Deshpande) who helps revive her mother's fading career. Says Gauri, " I did not quite disappear as I did an international film, a music video with Aamir Khan and a couple of other films, after which I went on a self-imposed break.

About Rewa, it was a demanding and hectic experience... but I thoroughly enjoyed the shooting schedule". Rewa also features Nikhil Arya who plays the character of Aniruddha, Rewa's boyfriend.
