Till date Lara is beauty queen but life has taught her many things. She may be novice at bollywood but the way she is handling herself inks that she is going to make it big. belive us she is here to stay. Unlike typical Indian actresses she chose to make her colleague, Sushmita Sen her role model (no pun intended). "Sushmita is a lot like me... We've absolutely no pretensions," she avers about the former beauty queen.

If professionally, things have fallen into her lap quite by accident, what with Madhur Bhandarkar, Dharmesh Darshan and Raj Kanwar signing her even without a screen test - on the personal front she knows her mind too well to get dictated by anyone. And she knows exactly what it could take to get to the top. "For starters, I am too self-respecting a person and will not kiss a hero," she declares. And second, Dutta admits to being an ardent Aishwarya Rai fan, "I think very highly of her as an actor," adding in the same breath that, "I'd like to be like her in many ways."

Suffice it to say that Dutta, has her priorities worked out just right. Whether these moves will actually help Dutta climb the ladder to success is too long drawn a debate and merits no attention at the moment. But one thing is for sure, she is playing her cards far too well to allow any mishap to ruin her chances.
