We have seen him as a gullible guy next door in Dil Chahata Hai but in real life things can be pretty different too. For Saif, it isn`t only his lineage that could give most of the male actors a massive inferiority complex, there are other reasons why Chhote nawab would be envied by his colleagues.
If you discount his slow but steady rise as a dependable second lead with a penchant for light-hearted comic roles, here`s something that would make him stand out – his inherent sense of the aesthetic. Apparently the actor is so well versed with the fine arts - be it painting, Western music, sculpture and movies that he finds himself at a total loss of words while interacting with most of his his male co-actors.
And what does he do on the sets while his shot is being readied? If it`s a Pooja Bhatt, Sonali Bendre, Akshay Khanna, Aamir, Kajol or a Sushmita Sen he could "jabber away for hours," or "has discussions with them" but other than the aforementioned, he generally "grins and bears it." Perhaps practices light-hearted banter for his onscreen comic persona.
