"I experienced the same while I was doing "Banares" because it also has Kavya Madhavan. Even though we are good friends, when it comes to professionalism the spirit of competitiveness is there, " Navya told reporters here Wednesday after the screening of her Malayalam film "Banares".
Asked if she has no competition in the Malayalam industry after Kavya's marriage, Navya said that she never thought like that.
"The competition is only with co-actresses. I never get upset if someone else has more number of films than me, " she said.
Talking about her role in "Banares", she said: "It was after a gap of few years that I have done a film which I hold close to my heart."
Navya's kitty is full with Tamil and Kannada films.
Asked about her marriage plans, Navya said: "I hail from a small village Muthukulam (near Kollam in Kerala) and whatever I have achieved is simply because of fate. My marriage and future projects all are part of destiny and whatever I get is attributed by me as fate."
Navya got upset when a scribe said she is doing sexy roles in other language films.
"Please tell me in which film I am like that. I have not done it and will not do it either, " she said.
