Following the footsteps of south heroines like Asin and Shriya, yet another south actress is all set to make it big in Bollywood.

Gorgeous Anushka would be stepping into the world of Hindi Cinema with a movie which is going to be a remake of her Telugu blockbuster Arundhathi.

The film did well at the box office, not only in the Telugu version but also when it was dubbed in Tamil and now the Hindi audiences would get a chance to cherish the great storyline of this flick.

Earlier, Asin was preferred by Producer Madhu Mantena of Geetha Arts (Producer of Aamir's Ghajini). But then, as the producer of Telugu version M Shyam Prasad decided to make his entry into Bollywood remaking this film, Asin was dropped from the option.

Sonu Sood, who donned baddie role in Telugu version, will be performing the same role in this remake version too.
