However, even with this hi intensity media barrage, there are some who mend their way the other side to win.
If the recent report is anything to go by, then filmmaker and Lok Janshakti Party candidate from West Champaran seat, Prakash Jha, was recently arrested after police raided his guest house allegedly seizing Rs 10.25 lakhs following some reports that he was apparently distributing money among voters.
The bust was made as West Champaran Superintendent of Police - K S Anupam led a team of local police and central paramilitary forces in a raid at Jha's guest house around midnight where the said sum was recovered and 29 people where arrested, including the filmmaker. They were, however, later let off on furnishing personal bonds, official sources said on Wednesday.
Prakash Jha, however, denied that the money was meant for distribution among the voters and said that it was meant to be paid to the labourers and other employees of the factory he is building.
At the same time the filmmaker accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi of acting with vendetta against him to sully his image.
