Few weeks back we had revealed what drove Preity Zinta to own her own IPL team, now we reveal to you from what we have learnt through industry sources about how Shilpa Shetty and her boyfriend Raj Kundra went on to be associated with the Rajasthan Royals.

Sources reveal, "Shilpa Shetty was actually initially offered a role in the movie that the Indian Premiere League season one winning team Rajasthan Royals had planned to make on their famous victory.

But apparently, Shilpa did not take the offered money and chose to invest the money in the team. She then got in boyfriend Raj Kundra to invest additional money to buy a 12 percent stake in the franchisee."

Now from the looks of it the beautiful actress seems to be enjoying her IPL stint. One can see a gamut of expressions on Shilpa's face as she is watching the Rajasthan Royals matches with Raj Kundra and her family members.
