Ajay Devgan and Gracy Singh will be seen acting together for the first time in director Prakash Jha's next film titled ‘Gangaajal: The Holy Weapon'. About his next movie Jha has reportedly said that Gangaajal will be a socio-political thriller based on a cops and criminals story. The film will have Ajay playing a committed cop who is caught in a moral dilemma of choosing between the right and wrong in the society.

Gracie Singh's role in the film will be a marginal but a crucial one. Other artists like Mohan Joshi, Mohan Agashe, Yashpal Sharma, Mukesh Tiwari, Ayub Khan and Anita Kanwal will play supporting roles. Besides, the film has 87 characters. Gangaajal will go on the floors in a couple of days will be completed by March and will release in July 2003.The film will be shot at the districts of Wai and Satara in Maharashtra.
