Her 'Sharara' act has made her the latest Oomph queen of Bollywood. Though we haven't seen her in too many films lately but it seems that things are getting hot for Miss Shetty Junior.

Shamita is flying high as she's signed none other than Boney Kapoor's film ‘Bewafa' which is said to have a great line-up of actors in it. What's interesting is that Shamita is now experimenting with a role which has negative shades.

To be directed by Dharmesh Darshan, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai, Akshay Kumar and Kareena, and is a remake of B R Chopra's ‘Gumrah'. What's interesting is that the grist mills claim that Bipasha was first offered the role, but turned it down and after being offered to other actresses, the role has finally landed in Shamita's lap.
