After playing mother to Bollywood superstars like Aamir Khan in "Rang De Basanti", Shah Rukh Khan in "Om Shanti Om" and Abhishek Bachchan in "Dostana", Kirron Kher is set to play a judge on the new reality show "India's Got Talent". The actress says she won't be kind to poor performers.

"I am vocal about my opinion on people, but whether I'm sweet or blunt to a performer will depend on his or her performance. I can't shower praises on someone who makes a fool of himself on stage. I won't be kind to that person," Kirron told.

"India's Got Talent" is a variety talent show and participants from all over the country will showcase what they are best at within two minutes. To be hosted by video jockeys Nikhil Chinappa and Ayushmaan Khurana, it will be aired on Colors channel soon.

"India's Got Talent" is the Indian version of popular British reality show "Britain's Got Talent". Apart from Kirron, actress Sonali Bendre and internationally renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur will share the stage as judges.

Asked if they will try to create sparks by fighting and contradicting each other's opinions like judges of other shows, Kirron said: "We are basically graceful and decent people. We don't believe in such histrionics. I'm sure we can have different opinions over a performance, but we agree to disagree."

While auditioning for the show, Kirron fulfilled one of her childhood dreams - she got to wear a traditional mask of Chhau dancers.

"At the Kolkata auditions of the show, there was a group who performed Chhau dance wearing the traditional masks. I have been a theatre student and have always been fascinated with these things.

So after their performance, I went up to them and asked them for a mask so that I could wear one. It was like a childhood dream come true for me," said the 55-year-old actress.

Chhau is a tribal dance, popular in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Orissa.

Kirron said that not only the dance form but the performances of martial art experts and folk singers left her "astounded".

"I was astounded to see such outstanding acts, great voices - it's amazing to see the vast reservoir of talent we have in our country," said Kirron, who was in the capital for the Delhi auditions of the show.

The actress, who is best remembered for her critically acclaimed performance in "Khamosh Paani" and peppy acts in films like "Hum Tum" and "Dostana", is looking forward to Rensil D'Silva's untitled project with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena as well as Akshay Kumar-starrers "Kambakkht Ishq" and "Action Replay".
